Easy Solutions for Sweet Scents

Occasionally, I like to be a girly girl. In one particular way the most: smells! I <3 good smelly things!

I work for a pizza place and (not that I want to admit this) but I occasionally come home smelling like a wet dough ball. My uniforms tend to make even the regular clothes I wash with them smell like pizza–No joke! So I’ve picked up a few things that have helped me with this (especially when laundry builds up!).

My purchases are all very similar in regards to location because I am addicted to bath and Body works! (Mostly because they send me mad coupons!) A lot of the stuff they off can be picked up anywhere though! One of my favorite things are oil warmers!

In the first photo is that one I got for my birthday! Next to it you will see me and my (insert: cute-make-u-want-to-barf-nickname) boyfriend. This is my favorite think in my whole room! The oil lamp, not the boyfriend. Haha. Kidding! Anyways, the ’smell’ consumer has a lot of options when it comes to products and scents.

  • Oils- They come in all scents and sizes! My three favorite places for these have to be Bath and Body Works / White Barn Candle Co. (In a lot of malls these are connected stores). The oils are larger and cheaper ($7.50) then most other places. The Body Shop also has some wonderful smelling oils but the bottles are smaller and they are $8.00 per oil.
  • Candles- Bath and Body Works can be a little over priced with these. If you wait and watch you can catch some really good sales! Yankee candle also offers some spectacular scents and there candles tend to have a long burn time.
  • Reed Diffusers- I actually don’t own one of these but my roommate uses them in her bedroom and they seem pretty potent. Any other benefits to using these?
  • Wall plugs- BBW calls them Sentports. The downside is that they don’t last very long. a month is what the box states but it is never as long as it says. The Glade Plug-ins last longer and the refills are a lot cheaper. You can also find the re-fills just about anywhere!

These are the options that I am aware of currently! Let me know if you found some other fun and exciting smell-ventures!
