Necklace Woes and Whoas!
Jewelry boxes sure are great and serve a wonderful purpose. But no matter how hard you seem to try, your necklaces still manage to get tangled and mixed all together or get moved around in some unorganized, not-easy-to-get-apart cluster. There has got to be a better way, a more organized way.
This is where unconventional thinking comes into play.
I recently had a home shopping day with one of my best friends and the best discovery of the day was a new necklace stand. It is in the shape of a dress. The top rotates and has spokes to hang necklaces from. Unfortunately it was the only one left and since my friend really liked it, we ended up on a wild goose chase in search for another. We were eventually able to find one for her online at Urban Outfitters that was simple with a bird on top.
We are both in love with our new necklace storage pieces and let me tell you, it does make getting ready in the morning a bit less hectic. No need to mess around with untangling things or moving too much around – just grab and go!
Good stuff, right? Well, let’s not stop there…
This week, while reading Cupcakes and Cashmere (one of the many blogs I like to keep tabs on), I saw another fabulous idea – hanging knobs on the wall. This looks super cute on the wall and gives you a place to hang necklaces mess-free! Think of the endless possibilities of the types of knobs you can find. You will certainly be able to find some to match your theme and color scheme at a home goods store or hardware store.
